摘要：PURPOSE:To transfer a tire efficiently between green tire forming apparatuses by using a transfer apparatus wherein a swingable frame having gripping arms is provided and is made freely movable through a guide member. CONSTITUTION:The first stage green tire transfer apparatus E is moved to the position of a guide member 107a along a guide member 107c and the space between gripping arms 106a and 106b is widen and, on the other hand, a swingable frame 104 is revolved to a two dots broken line position and, after revolution, moved to the position of the forming drum 201 in a first stage forming apparatus 200 along the guide member 107a to receive a first stage green tire formed on the drum 201 (the gripping arms and the drum are shrunk). Next, the transfer apparatus E is moved to the position of the guide member 107b through the members 107a, 107c and the frame 104 is revoled to the direction reverse to the above described direction to be positioned at the two dots broken line position and, thereafter, moved to the position of the tire forming drum 301 of a second stage forming apparatus 300 to transfer the tire thereon onto the drum 301.
