摘要：The invention relates to an arrangement for fast data exchange between two microcomputers or between two multi-microcomputer systems. A DMA controller (DC1) is allocated to one computer (COM1). The system bus (SB1) provides the connection between computer and DMA controller. A second DMA controller (DC2) is allocated to a second microcomputer (COM2). A second system bus (SB2) provides for the connection in this case. The two system buses are interconnected via a system bus isolating stage (TS). During the bus isolation, both computers can operate independently of one another. To exchange data, the microprocessors of the microcomputers are switched to the hold state (all connections to the system bus isolated), the system buses (SB1, SB2) are interconnected and one DMA controller handles the data exchange whilst the other DMA controller is deactivated. During the data exchange, for example, information is read out of the random-access memory of the second microcomputer (COM2) and loaded into the random-access memory of the first microcomputer (COM1). The control is handled by one DMA controller alone in this case and is very fast. <IMAGE>
