摘要：PURPOSE:To considerably enhance the corrosion resistance of galvanized steel products by galvanizing steel products with molten zinc contg. Al and Mg in a specified ratio and amount. CONSTITUTION:When steel products are galvanized, 0.1-1.5% Mg and <1.5% Al are added to molten Zn in an Al/Mg ratio of >0.2 and melted. The combined addition of Al and Mg inhibits the corrosion of grain boundaries of a galvanized film and enhances the chemical treating characteristics. The galvanized film is activated to phosphating to enable the formation of a fine phosphate film, and the workability is also enhanced.
