摘要:PURPOSE:To remove the useless consumption of chemicals for treating waste water so as to reduce the treating cost in the treating equipment for the waste water discharged from dust-collecting process for a converter with chemicals, by discriminating the waste water discharged during blowing period from that during nonblowing period, and by injecting selectively the chemicals for treating the waste water in accordance with those period. CONSTITUTION:Waste gas discharged from a converter 1 is removed from dust and is cooled in the first and the second venturi scrubbers 3, 4. The temp. of the waste water to be removed from dust and to be cooled, having passed the first venturi scrubber 3, is measured by a temp. sensor 11 before said waste water enters a distributing tank 7 and the gas is discriminated whether it is discharged during blowing period or nonblowing period by the measured temp. From the result of discrimination, chemicals 13 for treating waste water discharged in blowing period or chemicals 14 for treating waste water discharged in nonblowing period is charged at the point B between the distributing tank 7 and a dust separator 8. The waste water enters a thickener 9 and to settling pond 10 using oblique plate, where treating chemicals 13, 14 are charged once more in accordance with the waste water discharged in blowing period or in nonblowing period, hereby the cost for treating waste water is reduced.
