摘要:PURPOSE:To improve the color rendering and raise the maintenance rate of the light flux of a fluorescent lamp by using a fluorescent body which is composed of yttrium- oxide phosphor which is activated with europium and has a given average grain- diameter, calcium-halophosphate phosphor activated with either antimony or manganese, and a green luminous phosphor whose wavelength at its luminous peak is within a given range. CONSTITUTION:A fluorescent body, with which the inner wall of the glass tube 1 of a fluorescent lamp is covered, is prepared from a mixture which is composed of yttrium-oxide phosphor which is activated with europium and has an average grain- diameter not less than 7mum, calcium-halophosphate phosphor activated with either antimony or manganese, and a green luminous phosphor having a wavelength of 500-550nm at its laminous peak. As a result, the general color rendering index of the lamp becomes 70-80, thus enabling the color rendering to be improved. Besides, the light flux of the lamp and the maintenance rate of the light flux can be greatly enhanced.
