摘要：PURPOSE:To improve the indexing accuracy of a spindle by indexing the spindle via gears. CONSTITUTION:A splined shaft 25 is moved leftwardly of drawing by the operation of a piston 27 to disengage a first gear 26 from an intermediate gear 30. At this time a brake 33 is disengaged. Then, hydraulic medium is press introduced into the left chamber of a cylinder to move a piston 35 rightwardly of drawing thereby rotating a gear 34 and an arm 31. The gear 30 is idled at this time on a second gear 20. Then, the piston 35 is contacted with a stopper. When the piston 35 is thus stopped, it pushes at its dog a limit switch to confirm the rightward movement thereof. Then, the switch engages the brake 33, stops the rotation of the gear 30, and leftwardly moves the piston 35 to reversely rotate the gear 34 and the arm 31. Since the gear 30 is fixed to the arm 31 via the brake 33 at this time, the rotating arm 31 rotates the second gear 20, thereby indexing the spindle 19 having at its one end the gear 20 to thus rotate the gear 20.
