摘要：PURPOSE:To simplify a deflecting circuit and prevent the generation of picture noises. CONSTITUTION:Signals Xi and Yi, which indicate the position of character ''m'', are applied to shift registers 16 and 18 respectively from position specifying circuit 15 and are added to a vertical scanning signal and a horizontal scanning signal respectively in adders 9 and 12 through D/A converters 17 and 19. Thus vidicon 2 scans the portion surrounded by a dotted line and erases the residual image. Successively, position detecting mark 31 displayed on the end portion of the section of character ''m'' is detected and signals Xi and Yi are applied to shift registers 16 and 18 respectively and are added to a vertical signal and horizontal signal respectively in adders 9 and 12 through D/A converters 17 and 19. Then vidicon 2 scans the section where character ''m'' exists and the picture with character ''m'' is read out, so that the video signal with the data which indicate character ''m'' is outputted from vidicon 2.
