摘要：PURPOSE:To reduce connection loss and make manufacture structurally easy by fixing optical fibers in the shallow V-grooves provided to a pair of blocks and holding and fixing a lesn with the deep V- grooves provided in continuation to the shallow V-grooves. CONSTITUTION:Optical fibers are fixed in the optical-fiber-positioning shallow V- grooves 11a and 12d respectively provided to blocks 11 and 12. Next, a lens 1 is sandwiched respectively from the opposite sides by the V-grooves 11b and 12b which are for positioning of the lens 1, are relatively deep and are slightly longer than the lens 1. On the other hand, the lens 1 is focusing type optical transmission body of a length equivalent to 1/2 pitch and the light beam entering the same through the optical fiber 2 is able to enter the optical fiber 3 by advancing zigzag in the lens 1. Hence, if the serrations of the two blocks 11 and 12 from the axis A of their V- grooves are made the same, connection loss may be reduced and their manufacture may be made easy.
