摘要：<p>An air intake assembly (11) for a vehicle (10) comprises a first housing (14) rotatably mounted on the vehicle and a stationary second housing (23) mounted within the first housing. A plurality of firs inlets (18) are formed through the first housing and are adapted to align with a plurality of second inlets (26) formed through the second housing to normally permit the passage of air there through for engine combustion purposes. Upon further relative rotation of the housings, the inlets (18) and (26) become misaligned to prevent the passage of air therethrough. In the preferred embodiment, inlets are formed through both sides (16) and (24) and bottom walls (17) and (25) of the housings and disposed thereon whereby upon alignment of the inlets (18) and (26) formed through the side walls (16) and (24) of the housings to permit the passage of air therethrough the inlets (19) and (27) formed through the bottom walls (17) and (25) of the housings will be closed and vice versa. </p>
