摘要：<p>A structure forming a floating support anchored to the sea-bed by means of a column articulated on a base placed on or buried in the sea-bed, incorporates a floating support which includes an emergent platform, is connected to the top of the column by an articulation system, e.g., Cardan type, and is fitted with one or more floats distant from the column. The floats are disposed in a symmetrical configuration w.r.t. an axis perpendicular to the plane of the platform and passing through the pt. of articulation between the column and the floating support. Attempted uses of an articulated column associated with a floating support, e.g. as a means of mooring a ship, have proved difficult because of the creation of a large bending moment. The invention resolves such a problem by replacement of the float of the column by a floating support, advantageously a floating platform, associated stably with the column and articulated on it. When the floating support is deflected from its normal position for any reason, the only forces transmitted to the column, which inclines, are applied axially and are no longer bending forces. The floating support can be large and the problem of mooring ships is resolved since they can be moored alongside it.</p>
