摘要：<p>A pref. for mfg. plates or similar parts, is fitted with a rigid punch providing the top surface contour of the plate. An elastic membrane provides the lower contour of the plate, and contains a ring groove forming the foot of the plate. A powdered porcelain mass is fed into the mould cavity created between the punch and membrane. A cavity below the membrane is filled with a medium exerting press. on the membrane after the punch has been lowered; and the punch is surrounded by a spring-loaded ring resting on a second ring surrounding the membrane when the punch is lowered. The second ring is fitted on the upper rim of a mould contg. the membrane. The spring-loaded ring and the punch are pref. provided with mating grooves forming a ring channel opt, subjected to a vacuum. Plates with uniform thickness, esp. near the rim of the plate are obtd.</p>
