摘要：<p>A metering device for liquids is intended to be fixed to the mouth of a bottle and comprises a piston-cylinder pump and a valve unit contg. an inlet valve and outlet valve with valves seatings of hard plastics. Both valves are ball valves, normally held closed by gravity. The valves are mounted beside each other, with their axes parallel, in the valve unit and are interconnected by an inclided duct. The balls are of stone, esp. agate or ruby. The valve block is e.g. a solid PTFE block and the seatings may be precision ground glass components. Used with highly corrosive liquids. Device is economical to make, absolutely corrosion-resistant, and contains no springs.</p>
