摘要：<p>Internal combustion engine with only two or four toothed wheels as individually moving parts has the teeth so shaped that they always contact one another at two points so that an enclosed chamber is formed which expands or contracts as the wheels rotate. Where four wheels are employed an improved ejection of exhaust gases is achieved. The sides of the teeth therefore act as piston-cylinder units. At the initial point of contact the suction and compression stages arise. When the tooth one wheel is located as far as possible into the inter-tooth gap on the neighbouring wheel ignition occurs and the power stroke commences. As the wheel teeth separate so the exhaust gases are discharged.</p>
