摘要：<p>The combined lid is made up of two elements soldered together. A top ring has a finger tap (13) in the centre. This tab is integral with a ring (12) which covers the ring and is soldered to the lid. The lid is seamed onto the body of the tin and the seams are rolled to form a joint. The top of the lid is scored with a circular groove (4) which extends most of the way around the tin. To open the tin, the tab (13) is lifted which allows the ring (12) to be also lifted. This causes the groove (4) to tear open, so that the lid can be prised back to the lid hinge (5).</p>
