摘要：<p>The conveyor band distortion check is for use in conveyor installations in underground mining operations, with a sensor which adjoins the conveyor band on its side. The sensor is moved sideways by distortion of the conveyor band which actuates a switch to turn off the conveyor drive. The sensor is a two-armed lever, one arm of which adjoins the conveyor band whilst the other arm carries a magnet acting as the actuating link for the switch. The contacts of the switch are rigidly fixed on a holder next to the conveyor belt. The lever has a bearing on a turning link permitting it being turned over on to a plane parallel to the conveyor band.</p>
