摘要：<p>Crotonanilides of formula (I), and the cpd. m-acetoxy 3-methoxycrotonanilide (II), are new. In the formula R1 is CONHX1 or CONX2X3. R2 and R3 are 1-3C alkyl. X1 is 2-12C alkoxyalkyl. X2 is 1-3C alkyl; X3 = 1-3C alkyl or alkoxy. Also new are the intermediates m-hydroxy-3-methoxycrotonanilide; m-benzyloxy acetoacetanilide; m-benzyloxy 3, 3-dimethyoxybutyranilide and m-hydroxy 3, 3-dimethyoxybutyranilide. (I) and (II) are pesticides, esp. herbicides useful for selective weed control in cereals.</p>
