摘要：<p>PURPOSE:To aim at the rationalization of maintenance work and the stable operation of a manufacturing line so as to improve the yield and quality of products by providing the manufacturing facilities of the manufacturing line with a chart displayed into bar codes and the like and a reader therefor and transmitting the data inputted from the reader into a host computer so as to be accumulated into a data base. CONSTITUTION:Non-numeric data of the maintenance information and the like of manufacturing facilities 1a, 1b is coded to prepare a chart indicated by bar codes and the like. A reader 2 for reading the chart and codes thereon optically is disposed at the respective manufacturing facilities 1a, 1b on the manufacturing line, and the data inputted from the reader 2 is transmitted to a host computer 10 so as to be accumulated into a data base 11. Accordingly, the data on the characteristics, defects, and the like of products is also inputted into the data base 11, and the host computer 10 analyzes its relation with the maintenance information and decides/outputs the following maintenance content and timing. The maintenance work is thereby rationalized as well as the manufacturing line is stably operated, and the quality and yield are therefore improved.</p>
