摘要：<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method of controlling the operation of a compressor which can prevent a low-stroke phenomenon or an over-stroke phenomenon of the compressor by changing the capacitance of a capacitor connected to a motor according to a variation value of a power supply voltage applied to the motor of the compressor. <P>SOLUTION: The device of controlling the operation of the compressor comprises: a means to output a selection signal for selectively changing the capacitance of the capacitor connected to the motor according to the variation value of the power supply voltage applied to the motor of the compressor; a plurality of capacitors C1, C2 connected to the motor; and a means 21 to selectively change the capacitance of the capacitors C1, C2 from the selection signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
