摘要:The present invention relates to an exposure mask for a liquid crystal display device and an exposure method of a liquid crystal display device using the same wherein, particularly, stitch defects in a COT-type liquid crystal display device are mitigated. According to the present invention, during a process of manufacturing the COT type liquid crystal display device, R, G, B color filter patterns are formed by using the exposure mask including a shift exposure unit to reduce reflection visual sensation around a boundary of an exposure area and to make cell gap defects less obvious. Consequently, visual recognition capability of a person is confused on the boundary of the exposure area, and consequently the person less recognizes stitch defects such as strip stains. An exposure process using the exposure mask of the present invention is performed by only two shots to expose a first exposure area and a second exposure area while stitch defects on the boundary of the exposure areas are mitigated. Therefore, the number of shots can be reduced when compared to an existing a LEGO exposure; process time can be reduced; and process efficiency can be increased.
