摘要：<p>The present invention relates to an inhibitor switch and, more specifically, to an inhibitor switch detecting a gear shift position in a vehicle. According to the present invention, the inhibitor switch turning on and off a gear shift signal on a transmission control unit (TCU) in accordance to the gear shift position after detecting the gear shift position comprises: a housing having a first terminal and a second terminal mounted on the upper surface thereof and separated from each other; a rotor mounted on the upper side of the housing, able to be rotated, and having an insertion groove opened downwards; and a contactor electrically connecting or disconnecting the first terminal and the second terminal when selectively touching the first terminal and the second terminal, wherein the contactor includes: a contact part having one surface touching the first and second terminal; and an elastic part having one end formed integrally on the other surface of the contact part, and elastically supporting the contact part in the directions of the first and second terminal. The elastic member and the contactor are formed integrally, thereby reducing the prime costs of the inhibitor switch; and in addition, the assembly process of the contactor is simplified such that the assembly failure rate of the inhibitor switch can be reduced.</p>
