摘要:In this stainless steel substrate for a solar battery, an oxide film which contains at least 50% of (i) Al2O3 or which contains (i) Al2O3 and (ii) SiO2 in a total amount of 50% or more is formed on the surface of a stainless steel material having a composition which contains, in mass%, 9 to 25% of Cr, at most 0.03% of C, at most 2% of Mn, at most 0.05% of P, at most 0.01% of S, at most 0.03% of N, 0.005 to 5.0% of Al, and 0.05 to 4.0% of Si with the balance consisting of Fe and unavoidable impurities and which contains at least 0.5% of Al and/or at least 0.4% of Si and satisfies relationship (1): Cr+10Si+Mn+Al > 24.5
