摘要：<p>A resin composition comprising: (A) a polyvinyl alcohol copolymer resin having an ethylene content of 1 to 50 wt%, prepared by the emulsion polymerization of vinyl acetate and ethylene in the presence of polyvinyl alcohol in an amount of at least 10 wt% based on the total weight of the polyvinyl alcohol and the vinyl acetate, and (B) at least one member selected from among polyvinyl alcohol resin, polyamide resin, and saponified olefin-vinyl acetate copolymer. It is excellent in melt-moldability, melt-extrudability, gas barrier properties, and mechanical strengths. A multilayered laminate composed of at least one layer of the polyvinyl alcohol copolymer resin as component (A) and at least one layer of a thermoplastic resin, wherein the copolymer resin layer serves as a heat-sealing layer; and another multilayered laminate composed of at least one layer of the polyvinyl alcohol copolymer resin and a 2 to 30 mu m thick layer of a polyolefinic thermoplastic resin, alone or together with an adhesive layer, wherein the thermoplastic resin layer serves as a heat-sealing layer. These laminates are excellent particularly in the flavor barrier properties, so that they are suitably used for food packaging.</p>
