摘要：PURPOSE:To obtain the titled polymer having excellent heat-resistance, cold resistance, weather resistance and mechanical characteristics, by adding a mixture of an acrylic monomer and a halogen-containing monomer to an emulsion of an organosiloxane containing mercapto group and polymerizing the monomers. CONSTITUTION:An organosiloxane having an average composition of formula (R<1> is univalent hydrocarbon group; a is 1.98-2.001; 0.0025-10mol.% of the R<1> is univalent hydrocarbon group containing mercapto group) is emulsified preferably to a solid content of 30-50wt.%. A mixture obtained by mixing an acrylic monomer with 0.1-mol.% (based on the acrylic monomer) of a halogen-containing monomer is added to the above emulsion and the monomers are polymerized in the presence of a radical polymerization initiator preferably at <=40 deg.C to obtain the objective polymer. The halogen-containing monomer is preferably vinyl chloroacetate.
