摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide high performance and high flexibility with minimum hardware by allocating data transfer paths among optical fiber channels through an optical fiber switch. SOLUTION: A scheduler 118 of a transfer path allocation system 50 receives transfer path data about a new frame from a channel module with the signal of a sentry 104 and stores the data together with front and rear links in a destination queue 121. The scheduler 118 writes data of a queue 112 in the order that is defined by glue logic 113. At the same time, the scheduler 118 retrieves a queue entry from the queue 121 in order of a link list and sends a new frame transfer request to an origin port and a destination port to an arbitrator 123. The arbitrator 123 rejects the transfer request when the destination port is in a busy state and mutually connects appropriate data transfer paths to a switch module through an MDN 42 when it is available.
