摘要：In the case of an impact absorber, especially for the bumpers of motor vehicles, having a guide pipe which is mounted in a body duct, a telescopic tube which is mounted so as to be axially displaceable in the said guide pipe and has at its front end a connection for the bumper, and elastically deformable spring bodies which are arranged within the said duct, provision is made according to the invention, in order to achieve a predetermined spring characteristic curve and a specific distance of elastic deformation, for the steel springs 14 which are arranged with prestressing in the impact absorber and matching rubber springs 12 to be loaded parallel to one another by the telescopic tube 4 which is pushed in when impacts occur. <IMAGE>
