摘要：An X-ray film holder (1) is connected to a bite wing (3) whereby the film holder can be held by the teeth of a patient. The film holder includes means whereby the film can be held in any one of a plurality of distinct positions relative to the bite wing. A guide arm (5) is connected to the bite wing (3) by a transverse arm (4) and a further transverse arm (6) is connected to the guide arm (5) and extends in a direction parallel to the plane of a film held in use by the holder. An elongate aiming member (8) is provided at the free end of the transverse arm (6) and extends perpendicularly to both the guide arm (5) and the transverse arm (6). The aiming member is provided with means such as markings (10) and aiming guides (11) for aligning the axis of a cone or a tube of an X-ray source with the in use point of intersection of the horizontal and vertical central lines of the film held in the holder. <IMAGE>
