摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, according to the configuration of the prior arts, when an overcurrent occurs, a comparator performs a comparison with an overcurrent threshold and an MOSFET is turned off and in this configuration, when the NMOSFET is turned off, a voltage between a drain and a source of the MOSFET becomes a value of VB-GND and when the comparator performs monitoring thereafter, the voltage between the drain and the source exceeds the overcurrent threshold so that, since the comparator erroneously detects it as an overcurrent again, a normal state can not be recovered. SOLUTION: If a voltage between a drain and a source of an MOSFET becomes higher than an overcurrent threshold upon an overcurrent, the MOSFET is turned off. Thereafter, a CPU diagnoses a failure using an A/D value of a motor terminal voltage for detecting line-to-line fault and grounding.
