摘要:The present invention refers to the preparation of novel derivatives of urocanic acid: tri-n-butyltin (IV) carboxylate and triphenyltin (IV) carboxylate, compounds which formulas are [(C6H5N202) Sn (CH2CH2CH2CH3)3](I) and [(C6H5N2O2)Sn(C6H5)3] (II) respectively. Where the compounds coordinated with tin are formed by the reaction between an organotin and 4-imidazolacrylic acid (urocanic acid) by means of a process that includes the preparation of a reactant mixture, the synthesis by reflux and the mixture and purification of the derivatives by recrystallization. The novel derivatives present antitumor activity in vitro against the growth of cancer cells of human origin: U251 (glia of central nervous system), PC-3(prostate), K562 (leukemia), HTC-15 (colon), MCF-7 (breast) and SKLU (lung).
