摘要：PURPOSE:To stably and reversibly rotate the rotor of a step motor for an electronic time piece, by forming a section such that a current is not flowed to a coil for a definite time at the time of rotation to a reverse direction to apply voltage to the motor. CONSTITUTION:When second pulse voltage is applied at the point of time when a rotor 2 comes to the vicinity of the notches 3, 4, the rotor 2 begins to rotate reversely. A period, such that no inverse induction current flows to a coil when the rotor 2 is accelerated and reversely rotated to reach a position shown by the drawing (d), is set. By this mechanism, the rotor 2 succeeds reverse rotation to a position shown by the drawing (e) by inertia without being subjected to speed reduction resulting from the reception of braking action due to a current flowing the coil. In addtion, when the rotor 2 comes to a position shown by the drawing (e), a third pulse is applied to further rotate the rotor 2 reversely. By this method, the application timing of the third pulse can be also made well and reverse rotation becomes stable.
